From the Founder & CEO, Faiza Seidu-Adam

As a cybersecurity and data protection professional, I’ve seen how vulnerable people and organizations are to social engineering attacks like phishing—especially in Africa, where awareness and resources are often limited. 

I’ve worked in threat detection, responded to breaches, and helped companies recover from attacks that could have been prevented with the right mix of education, empathy, and smart tools.

As a cybersecurity and data protection professional, I’ve seen how vulnerable people and organizations are to social engineering attacks like phishing—especially in Africa, where awareness and resources are often limited. I’ve worked in threat detection, responded to breaches, and helped companies recover from attacks that could have been prevented with the right mix of education, empathy, and smart tools.

What struck me most was this: most attacks didn’t happen because of poor technology—but because people weren’t prepared. I kept asking myself, what if we could make cybersecurity feel more human, more relatable, and more culturally relevant?
That question led me to start Tuterla.
 
Tuterla is a cybersecurity company built on empathy, education, and innovation. We’re a Ghanaian-founded team with global insights, combining technical expertise, AI-powered tools, and storytelling to help schools, families, and businesses build real resilience.
